This established community has many fine newer homes and renovated older homes. Some folks find “acres of diamonds” on Keowee; they invest in less expensive older lakefront homes, enjoy the lake, and wait until retirement to renovate the treasures they found.
Keowee Subdivision is located about 5 minutes from Seneca and 10 from Clemson. It has three entrances off Highway 130 known as Keowee I, II, and III (labeled A, B and C on the Google Map below). More than 300 of its over 330 lots are lakefront. Being on the highly-desirable southeast side of Lake Keowee, this community offers some great long-range water and mountain views including views of the Keowee Sailing Club.
